Monstera, the plant of happiness.
Monstera is an evergreen plant, with large glossy leaves with characteristic slits and is an excellent choice of indoor plant for our home and office, as it survives even with little light.
Surely this plant will give the touch of color that was missing from the space and will renew us.
Originating from Mexico, the monstera is slow growing and gives us a few leaves each year. The longer it is maintained, the stronger the trunk will be, the more durable, shiny and of course larger in size the leaves will be. Gradually the plant can reach a height of 2-3 meters.
Care
The monstera has moderate water needs and needs watering once a week. Good drainage is a prerequisite for good plant growth. However, she loves the moisture in her leaves and it would be good to spray them often with distilled water.
As a decorative plant, the monstera adds a theatricality to the space.
